You don’t need any special skills or expertise—our website offers step-by-step video guides to help you out. That said, for some turbocharged cars, installation might take a bit longer due to tricky sensor access.
Will the load on the car increase after chiptuning?
Yes, a more powerful engine from engine tuning or chiptuning naturally increases the load on components like the transmission and chassis. But here’s the good news: modern engine and transmission designs come with a 2x to 4x safety margin for component strength, well beyond standard requirements. Plus, GAN only boosts power when you need it—like during quick acceleration or overtaking—so there’s no constant strain. Typically, the power bump happens in the mid-range, never pushing past the engine’s max capacity. Modern engines also have built-in safety systems that monitor critical conditions and dial back power to prevent overloads. GAN modules leave these safeguards intact, keeping your engine protected. When used correctly, GAN chiptuning won’t shorten your engine’s lifespan.
Is there any warranty that the engine won’t break?
Absolutely. We offer an additional engine warranty of up to 2 years, with coverage up to 5000 EUR (terms and amounts vary by device type). To get it, simply submit an application on our website after purchasing your GAN equipment. Once approved, you’ll receive an official certificate.
